Keyboard backlight color won't stay set

I just got an Asus ROG Zephyrus m15 Link Removed laptop. I like it but it has a problem. I prefer the display shuts off rather than a screen saver. Every time the display opens up the keyboard backlight color reverts to red. I set it to my preferred color and it stays til the next time the display wakes up.

I've been going nuts trying to find some info on this to no avail. I really don't like a red keyboard.

I fixed it. I reset my computer. It must have been something I did when I first set it up. I don't know what it was though. But it's good now.

Actually it wasn't right after the reset. It kept reverting back to white instead of red. I was Ok with white. But I just got a firmware update and that did fix it. Now it stays the color I set it to.
