Windows 7 Lenovo T61 / Docking station / External Display / can't get higher than 1600 X 1200

I am using the Nvidia BETA drivers that was downloaded via windows update can't get get the resolution on my external 20" planar to go above 1600 X 1200. When undocked the resolution on my 17" wide T61 is perfect and does go above 1600 X 1200. The resolution I'm looking for on my widescreen planar is 1680 x 1050. Anyone having a similar issue?
