This only is happening within webmail with Comcast. Comcast tells me it is on my end. When I click on an icon which has a link behind it I see the link text in a box but it will not activate. If I go to a Website clicking on an icon will work.

Solution
It sounds like you're experiencing a specific issue with webmail via Comcast where links behind icons are not functioning as expected. This issue seems to be isolated to webmail and does not occur when clicking icons on websites. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot this issue: 1. Clear Browser Cache: Cached data might be causing the links not to activate properly. Clearing the cache can sometimes resolve these types of issues. 2. Try a Different Browser: If the issue persists, try accessing Comcast webmail using a different browser to see if the problem is specific to a particular browser. 4. Check Browser Settings: Ensure that JavaScript is enabled in your browser settings as some features on web pages, including links, rely on JavaScript to function correctly. 5. Update Browser: Make sure your browser is up to date. Sometimes, outdated browsers can have compatibility issues with certain websites. 6. Disable Pop-up Blockers: Your browser's pop-up blocker might be preventing the links from opening. Disable it temporarily to see if it makes a difference. 7. Disable Security Software: Sometimes, security software like antivirus programs can interfere with website functionality. Temporarily disable them to check if they are causing the issue. If these steps don't resolve the problem, it might be helpful to reach out to Comcast support again to see if they can provide further assistance. They might have specific troubleshooting steps tailored to their webmail platform.
