i think after a windows update my Logitech webcam is not working like it did before the update if that ius even the problem any way the problem i a having is I have windows 10 home on my pc and have-Logitech webcam C525 hd webcam installed. about a month ago before any recent march updates I was able to take a video and go to file and send it to desktop ans see the photo and was able to share it to Facebook or where ever now i take the video and all i see is the media player icon on the desk top. i am using windows media player as y default player bit have tried VLc Ifram Gom and they all come up on the sesktop with the icom instated of the video it self. it does however open when i click on the icon. but i can not share it to dwsktop or to facebook innthe small chat bo at the bottom. i have uninstalled and reinstalled the driver have reached out to Logitech biut they have no not been very helpful in this. they said it was a windows issiue ao i tried going to windows help and all they wanted to do was reintall refresh do an in place update and i did not want any of that. I think thhis happened after installing this update KB5001567 but can not be certain it worke d before that upsdate on March 16ht and i can not uninstall the update see attachment this is what i see on the desktop

Sorry, that won't work.
- find the folder which contains the icon
- find in the top of that folder 'Options', click on it followed by 'Change folder and search options'
- next window 'Folder Options' pops up, click on 'View'
- deselect 'Always show icons, never thumbnails'

this is how it comes up comes up as an icon when earlier in March and alway it would come up as the video itself what you see in uppoer photo now I get this not the video i get the icon not the video on my desk top I fi iwant to see or send the video i have to click on the icon. As i said earlier in March it was working fine then one da this happened not sure if it was a windows update

i just clicke don the icon and got the video full size it is hard to eplain if you are not seeing what i mean first hand

have no idea whay it is coming up as png
shoukd be mp 3 or 4 or what ever the media player is

I dont have and dont know that software, you are telling so many things, please....i just clicke don the icon and got the video full size it is hard to eplain if you are not seeing what i mean first hand
First: have you tried reinstalling the logitec software?

On the top row in the Explorer you see tabs: 'File', 'Home', 'Share' and 'View', click on 'View'.yes several times
Then click on 'Preview pane'.
Does that help?
