DirectX 12 will be essentially supported on all Fermi and later Nvidia GPUs, on AMD's GCN-based chips and on Intel's Haswell and later processors' graphics units.[45]

So if the above is true there will be no need to upgrade for many of us (not to get DX12 compatibility anyway). Let's hope it's supported in the drivers and applications soon.

Even a test demo to show it's potential would be nice. Direct X 12 contains many features similar to AMD's 'Mantle'. This means less overhead and more grunt for gaming... :)
 
Both Jimbo and I had mentioned about how the games looked or felt a little different (for the better) and I wonder if this is because why?
 
Before and after benchmarks (same machine) would be VERY interresting.
