Microsoft has released a new version of the Malicious Software Removal Tool, designed to scan for the most common malware. This tool is usually released on the second Tuesday of every month as part of 'Patch Tuesday', but this appears to be an out-of-cycle release. There's a Link Removed and Link Removed version of the tool available.
