Windows 7 Media Center Guide won't update

Hey guys,

The media center guide worked fine for a while and then a couple of weeks ago it just stopped updating. It said it was updating but when I went to the guide is didn't have any data. I tried redoing the guide setup and that didn't work. My firewall is turned off so that shouldn't be the problem. Maybe something with windows update? Not sure. Any ideas would be awesome!

Hopefully I won't get any backlash for bringing a thread back from the dead but I'm having the exact same issue. If anyone has any help with this I would really appreciate it.
