It seems like you're encountering issues with Windows Media Player and Windows Photo Viewer on Windows 7 pre-release version. Here are some steps you can take to address these problems:

Windows Media Player Not Working:

  1. Reinstall Windows Media Player:
    • Go to the Control Panel.
    • Click on "Programs and Features."
    • Select "Turn Windows features on or off" on the left pane.
    • Locate and uncheck "Windows Media Player" to uninstall it.
    • Restart your computer.
    • Repeat the steps but this time check the box next to "Windows Media Player" to reinstall it.

    ]File Association Settings:
    • Go to the Control Panel.
    • Click on "Default Programs."
    • Select "Associate a file type or protocol with a program."
    • Check if ".jpg" and ".tif" file extensions are associated with Windows Photo Viewer.
    • If they aren't, click on "Change program" and select Windows Photo Viewer.

Downloading Windows Media Player and Windows Photo Viewer:

Since Windows 7 is an older operating system, you should be able to find these programs within the operating system itself. Here's how you can locate them:
    • Windows Media Player: It should be available in the "Programs" or "Accessories" folder in the Start menu. If it's missing, you can follow the steps above to reinstall it.
    • Windows Photo Viewer: Similarly, it should be part of the default programs on Windows 7. Check the Start menu or search for "Windows Photo Viewer." If you are unable to find these programs or they are not functioning properly post-reinstallation, you might need a more specialized solution. In such cases, seeking help from Microsoft support or a Windows 7 community forum could be beneficial. Try these steps and let me know if you encounter any issues or need further assistance!
