Windows 7 Microphone not working on HP g60 after installing windows 7

Hi everyone,

After I installed windows 7 on my HP G60 laptop, the microphone does not work. I have read other posts and tried those things but doesnt work. It use to work when I had Vista installed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Are you talking about the built in mic of the laptop? If so go to HP's website and download the the OS 7 driver 32/64 bit version. I would give you a link but need the specfic model and bit version you have.

As you can see there is a lot to choose from. This should get you going in the right direction.

Sometimes when we upgrade from one OS to another something gets corrupted with in the upgrade. It just happens and you happen to be one of the unlucky ones to experience this. Know that your not alone in this, it just happens and most of the time. I belive with the new driver you should be fixed in no time.
