The learning curve is starting to level out a bit, so I have one question and a suggestion.
Is there any chance during your classwork that your system was modified and thereby creating a problem for the install?
The suggestion is to check the install log. It is organized by day so you can go close to the bottom and find the day you tried to install. Perhaps it will show something that would indicate where the error is. If you find something (or not) you might copy some of the text and attach the file using the paperclip in the Advanced reply. Since I just installed the Microsoft Loopback Adapter on another computer, I can compare my log to yours.
