It kept all of mine(but I only have 3)....I didn't have to re-add anything after I updated FF. I manually updated....not sure it that would make a difference.
 
In my plugins....I'm only showing: OpenH264 Codec provided by Cisco Systems, INC, Shockwave Flash, Widevine Content Decryption Module provided by Google Inc. Those were there when I manually updated. I have 2 extensions: New Tab Homepage and uBlock Origin.

All were there before I updated and all are there after I updated.
