  • Open Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Folder Options.
  • Under the View tab, ensure that "Always show icons, never thumbnails" is unchecked.
  • Update Codecs:
  • Ensure that your MP3 codec is up to date.
  • You can try installing a third-party codec pack like K-Lite Codec Pack to ensure proper codec support for MP3 files.
  • Third-Party Tools:
  • Consider using third-party tools like Media Preview or Icaros to enhance thumbnail generation support for various file types, including MP3.
  • Restart Windows Explorer:
  • Restarting Windows Explorer can sometimes help refresh the thumbnail cache.
  • Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
  • Under the Processes tab, right-click on Windows Explorer and select Restart.
  • Reset WMP Configuration:
  • Resetting Windows Media Player configuration settings might help resolve the issue.
  • Open Control Panel > Programs and Features.
  • Select Windows Media Player and choose "Turn Windows Features on or off."
  • Uncheck Windows Media Player, restart your PC, then re-enable it.

Additional Tips:
