    Hello
I bought Office 2010 when i got my dell a year ago and it has no disc just an id #. if I install I use this #.

If I were to buy Win 8, could I use this # and have Office 2010 on my machine?
I don't think Office comes out of the box does it?
    Thank you
    Peter

The basic license terms are"one copy per one device" so you cannot install it to run simultaneously on more than one device but if it has been uninstalled from the first then it may be reinstalled to another.

I guess windows 8 is compatible enough, I guess there should be no problem with it.
    Thanks.
