I'm getting an MTP application failure when connecting my Samcung Galaxy S phone to my Laptop. After running the suggested troubleshooter, Windows indicated a problem with the MTP driver(s) but is unable to resolve the issue? In Device Manager, I right-clicked on the device and selected uninstall device drivers. Windows subsequently sought out new drivers for the device which it installed. The same MTP error occurred. Does anyone have an ideas on how to fix this problem?
