So I have stumbled upon this problem where all sounds are muffled as soon as I connect my Bluetooth headphones. Now I have occurred this problem before with a MacBook and another computer with windows 10 (Current one has windows 8.1), but with those, I would just go in to sound settings and disable the part of my headphones used for communication. In Windows 8.1 however, that doesn't seem to even be an option. I can't for the life of me find another "part" to disable.

So I fixed this temporarily yesterday when i updated the drive for Realtek audio, but this morning when I connected the headphones, it was muffled again. All the drivers are updated now and I just can't figure out why its muffled. The normal speakers sound perfectly fine and I have used these headphones for really long without this problem. If there is anyone that could help me, I would be very grateful.

System Restore: - If the issue started after a recent update or change, consider using System Restore to go back to a point when the headphones were working fine. By systematically going through these steps, you should be able to identify and resolve the muffled sound issue with your Bluetooth headphones on Windows 8.1.
