Title pretty much says it all. If you have followed my "PSU died" thread you know what's going on.
After I got my new PSU installed, my PC acted strange, it would not post but I know that that MoBo has always been a PITA to post after a major hardware change so at first I didn't think much of it, but after I cleared RTC like I've had to do in the past it posted so I went into setup and made necessary changes and pressed F10 to save and exit...
Still no post :frown: I was like WTF  so I done it again and finally got it to boot after clearing and pressing F2 to load defaults and continue with the XP hard drive plugged in it booted up and I ran XP but it was VERY unstable so I restarted hoping that a fresh restart would help but that was not it. So again I cleared RTC, and again and so forth continuously removing parts off MoBo looking for the defective hardware well I got down to the last stick of ram and 1 video card and had nothing left to take out so I started trying different sticks in different slots, still with no luck :frown: so I figured maybe the bios got disrupted when the PSU went to pot so I decided to try to restore or update it and it sat there for a long time and finally restarted and it NEVER posted again :(

Solution
The only thing I can think of is that for some reason your original PSU shorted out, now it's starting to become really obvious that something else is buggered too and I don't think it was your mobo.. You've replaced it right? And your still getting blue screens! Therefore something else in the mix is suspect too... As you know, the most likely candidate is going to be your memory... I bet you thats what it is...
I'm still at it

I'm running XP on it :( but it is running :D
I'll get Vista back on it but right now I gotta get it stable first

Any ideas as to whats wrong yet?

How ya like my CMOS mod cable I made? Haven't installed it yet but it'll keep me from having to open the case and remove the VC to get to the jumper. I'm going to mount the switch on the back of the case :D
