Windows 7 Need info on Generic.dx trojan

I am working on this computer and it has generic.dx on an xp sp2 and would like to know more about it if anyone can help.

It's a trojan program that is disguised as legitimate software but is designed to carry out some harmful actions on the infected computer. Your AV software should take care of it.

Try to exterminate it with Link Removed in safe mode.
