I have windows Seven Ultimate 64 bit, my lan card is an integrated atheros L1 gigabit ethernet controller.

Solution
It seems like you're experiencing network connection issues when sharing files from your Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit PC with other computers on your local network. This problem might be specific to interactions between your PC and other devices running different operating systems like Vista, XP, or Seven. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve this issue: 1. Update Network Adapter Drivers: - Ensure that you have the latest drivers installed for your integrated Atheros L1 Gigabit Ethernet Controller. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause network connectivity problems. 2. Disable Remote Differential Compression: - In some cases, disabling Remote Differential Compression (RDC) can help with file sharing issues...
It seems like you're experiencing network connection issues when sharing files from your Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit PC with other computers on your local network. 2. Disable Remote Differential Compression: - In some cases, disabling Remote Differential Compression (RDC) can help with file sharing issues. You can do this by going to Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows features on or off, then uncheck "Remote Differential Compression." 3. Modify Advanced Sharing Settings: - Check your advanced sharing settings to ensure that network discovery, file sharing, and other settings are configured correctly. You can access these settings by going to Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Change advanced sharing settings. 4. Check Network Permissions: - Verify that the permissions for the shared folders and files are set up correctly. Make sure that the appropriate users or groups have the necessary permissions to access the shared files. 5. Firewall and Antivirus Settings: - Temporarily disable the firewall and antivirus on your Windows 7 PC to see if they are causing the network disconnection issue. If disabling them resolves the problem, you may need to adjust their settings to allow file sharing. 6. Network Troubleshooter: - Use the built-in Windows Network Troubleshooter to diagnose and potentially fix common network issues. Go to Control Panel > Troubleshooting > Network and Internet > Network Adapter to run the troubleshooter. 7. Check Event Viewer: - Look for any related error messages or events in the Event Viewer. This can provide more detailed information about what might be causing the network disconnection. Try these steps and see if any of them help in resolving the issue with network disconnections when sharing files on your Windows 7 PC. If the problem persists, further investigation might be needed to pinpoint the exact cause of the issue. Let me know if you need more assistance! Buona fortuna! 🇮🇹
