Windows 7 'Network ID' greyed out in Windows 7

Hello,

I'm trying to add a computer to my companies domain in Windows 7. In XP I usually just click 'Network ID' and put in the domain name. However, in Windows 7 this option is completely greyed out.

I can still see the companies fill server, and use the internet. But it won't let me join the domain. Which (i think) is causing me to not have access to the printers.

Try, disconnecting from the network (unplug cable or disconnect from wireless) rebooting and logging on with a local user account with admin rights. Does that change anything, do the options seem to be ok when you do this. If not try changing the machine name if that's an option and see if that helps.
