I have a home network with the following devices :
WIN 10 PC
WIN 11 PC
NAS
I see only 1 or 2 of the devices at any time and on an intermittent basis. For example the WIN 11 PC sees only the WIN 10 PC. The WIN 10 PC today sees all devices including itself although yesterday it only saw itself and the NAS.
All the configuration changes I have tried are in the attached file. Note that there are 2 comments in the file regarding instances where a change briefly worked. Otherwise nothing fixed the issue.
I use a Netgear router. I have replaced the router at one point with another router as a test. Did not change the nature of the issue.
It has been my experience when all these recommended (from various forums and web sites) solutions don't work there is something basic I am missing. I hope that is the case here.
As an aside I also can't get a printer installed on the WIN 11 PC to print from the WIN 10 PC. Probably unrelated but just thought I would mention it.
