Windows 7 No Access to Network Drive

Hi all

I have a wireless router to which I have attached a Maxtor Shared Storage drive by cat5. I have two Windows 7 laptops, one I can map the drives fine with, the other when I try am told I don't have the access rights to and to contact the administrator ? I have previously connected using this laptop and don't know what I've changed ?

Only differences between the two is Kaspersky running on the one I can't connect with but even disabling K has no effect. I can see the drive in my network if that helps.

Any help gratefully received.

Look in the drives Properties on the permissions tab and verify that your machine name is listed. You may have to do this from the computer that can already access the drive.
