"not responding due to a long running script"
This is the message I get just about everytime I go from one site to another site using IE9 on Windows 7 which makes my computer almost useless because it freezes all the time. It's not a virus. Can anyone help solve this problem?

Solution
Have you tried another browser? If another browser is ok then it points to something attached to IE. You say it's not a virus - what AV action have you tried? If not already done I'd run malwarebytes.

Have you any add-onds which may be causing the problem? If unsure try disabling any you have then re-enabling one at a time.

Is this a comment or a request for help? If the latter you should start a new thread rather than hijack an existing thread which is three months old.
