Hi!

My Win7 dvd won't boot. So I cant do clean install. BIOS is setup right to boot from dvd-drive. DVD just spins a bit when trying to boot, and stops.

This Win7 dvd is not broken or corrupt, tried it on other PC and it booted fine.

Anyone knows solution?

Hmm can you tell me the answers to this questions.
What is your hardware manufacturer?
When the computer is on the desktop and you insert the DVD does the Windows 7 Installer shows up?
If you have any other bootable DVD's try using those as well. Please tell me the results

I have MSI PT880 motherboard and Samsung DVD+-RW SH-S222A. I think other hardware wont matter in this case.

And yes Win 7 installer shows up in Win XP. Thats how I installed Windows 7 into other hard drive and Windows 7 works well. But im just curious what is the problem with DVD start up boot.

I dont have any other bootable DVD's right now.

Could my BIOS cause this problem some how? Maybe old version of BIOS?
