Windows 7 Outlook 2003: Unable to Access CC/BCC Contacts After PST Import on Windows 7

Just built a new PC upgrade to windows 7 full new install then reinstalled Office 2003.
Saved the Outlook.pst files. Imported them OK into new machine.

All working with full Contacts list and ALL my old e-mails.
I can send e-mails OK , however if I wish to add any CC or BCC recipients as soon as I click on the respective field I get this msg:

"The address list could not be displayed. The Contacts folder associated with the Address list could not be opened, it may have been moved or deleted, or you may not have permission. For information on how to remove this folder from the Outlook Address Book see Microsoft Office Outlook Help.

Don't really understand what the msg is saying
Anyone any ideas

This may help. I seem to recall using this same method with an issue that I was having very similar to you, but it's been awhile since I've moved from 2003 to 2007 and now to 2010 so I have no way to test and confirm locally. You may want to first start with steps #13 thru #15, just to check before starting over with step #1.
