When exporting contacts from Outlook to a CSV file, it's common to see more details than what you can view directly in the address book. This is because the exported CSV may include hidden or additional contact fields beyond what is displayed in the address book interface. To export only the contacts you see in the address book without extra details: 1. Select Contacts to Export: - In Outlook, go to your Contacts folder. - Press Ctrl+A to select all contacts or manually select the ones you want to export. 2. Export Selected Contacts: - Go to the File menu. - Choose Open & Export > Import/Export. - Select "Export to a file" and click Next. - Choose "Comma Separated Values" and continue. - Select the Contacts folder for...

Review Exported CSV: - Open the exported CSV file in a spreadsheet program like Excel. - Check if the exported contacts match what you selected. If you still observe extra contacts in the CSV file after export, you might need to review the data within the CSV to understand where these additional contacts are sourced from. The additional information could come from hidden fields or perhaps synced accounts associated with Outlook. For a cleaner export of only the visible contacts, consider filtering the contacts view to show specific contact categories or making sure no hidden contacts or folders are inadvertently included in the exported file. If the issue persists or if you have specific filters or customizations in Outlook that affect the export, you may want to reach out to Microsoft Support for further assistance tailored to your setup.
