I recently downloaded and installed Windows 7 Professional from the MSDA Alliance website as a student in my college.

I installed the OS with no issues, and decided to put a password in. I know what it is an put a hint in for kicks.

Now, when I go to put the password in on restart, it never accepts it. I have tried every combination for the last hour and I'm stressed out about it. I do not have a password disk, and I don't have a free CD burner, since the locked pc is the one with the burner.

Is there any way that I can get into my Windows 7 to alter the password at all? Via USB I ccan do via the boot menu.

I really want to get back into my new OS, just got it today.

It seems like you're facing an issue with your Windows 7 machine where you're unable to log in even though you know the password and have tried different combinations. There are a few methods you can try to reset the password and regain access to your system: 1. Password Reset Disk: If you had created a password reset disk previously, you could use it to reset your password. Since you mentioned you don't have one, this method might not be applicable in your case. 2. Safe Mode: You can try booting into Safe Mode to see if you can access an Administrator account to reset your password. 3. Third-Party Tools: There are third-party tools available that can help you reset your Windows password. These tools can be burned onto...

Let's try using a third-party tool to create a bootable USB drive that can help you reset the password on your Windows 7 machine. By booting from this USB drive, you can reset the password and regain access to your computer. Do you have access to another computer to create this USB drive? If so, I can guide you through the process.
