Windows 7 Plagued with constant audio noise

Even though I had made countless Google searches before posting this I found nothing that worked, mainly suggesting things like latency issues, power settings and bios settings. It was suggestions on here that made me think about possible inherent noise issues on my specific motherboard and video card and it was first looking up noise on the P6T came up trumps. Thanks all.

It's admirable that you attempted to research this on your own and took such an active role in troubleshooting (and actually were the one to find the answer). That's often not the case. My comment about starting with a search referred to me and other advice-givers on the forum.
