Windows XP Please help to synchronize Audio in VLC Player

Please Help,

How to synchronize Audio in VLC media player. The Video Starts but the Audio is heard after nearly 15 secs. I am using Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit, and Latest VLC version 2.0.2.
