I'm looking for the best way to prep (i.e. save settings, favorites, etc.) in order to uninstall/reinstall IE10.
I still have remnants of the nasty "full-speed enabled" hanging around that I want to get rid of before upgrading to Win 8 soon.

Solution
I'm not sure about any way to backup settings (nit that nard to reconfigure anyway), but you can go to C:\Users\yourname\Favourites and copy all those items to a backup location. Settings in Windows 8 are backed up automatically.
