Dose anyone have the same problem that they can't reassign a read only folder to a writable one?

Solution
Folder Attributes

Please note that some folders are not actual folders but 'pointer' folders representing an actual folder in a more complex tree structure. You can actualy create these 'pointer' folders yourself. This may be the problem with the folder(s) you are refering.
might help if u gave a little more detail

like:
What folders names
Are they system/application/yours/other users
How they became RO
