Recently installed a AirLink 101 USB Adapter and an AirLink 101 Wireless N Router. I tried to connect to the LAN but Password was incorrect. Found out that the Adapter Properties were set to 802.11d and Value at Disable. Changed them to Property: Wireless Mode and the Value to, IEEE 802.11b/g/n. Was able to now connect.
Problem is the Property and Values revert to the original when I reboot and I have to do it over again. Where can I make these changes permanent.

    []Change Property Settings:
    • Locate the property related to Wireless Mode or IEEE 802.11b/g/n.
    • Set the value to IEEE 802.11b/g/n or your desired configuration.
    [
    ]Save Changes:
    • Click OK to save the changes.
    []Check for Persistence:
    • Reboot your system to verify if the changes persist after restarting.

      Method 2: Registry Editor (Advanced)

    [
    ]Open Registry Editor:
    • Press Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog.
    • Type regedit and press Enter to open the Registry Editor.
    []Navigate to Adapter Settings:
    • Go to the following path:
      Code:

    ]Find Your Adapter:
    • Look for the entry that corresponds to your AirLink 101 USB Adapter based on the DriverDesc value.
    • Within the adapter's key, you may find subkeys related to properties that you can modify.
    []Adjust Property Values:
    • Look for the property related to Wireless Mode or IEEE 802.11b/g/n.
    • Modify the values to set your desired configuration.
    [
    ]Restart Your Computer.

    Note:

    • Modifying the Windows Registry is advanced and can have unintended consequences if done incorrectly. Proceed with caution and consider creating a backup before making any changes.
    • Persistence of settings can also sometimes be managed through manufacturer-specific utilities if they provide configuration tools for the adapter.
By following these steps, you should be able to make the changes to your AirLink 101 USB Adapter properties permanent, ensuring that they do not revert back to their default settings after a reboot.
