Windows 7 Resolving Crackling Sounds When Amplifying Microphone in Windows Settings

When increase the amplification of microphone in Windows settings then also the audio of movies, etc is also
have crackles and noise. I did this so my friend hears me on Skype. What should i do?
 
Solution
When you change the settings for/in windows it's set that way for everything. I would use the software/program that you're using to change the mic settings...in this case Skype. Open Skype and go to settings and set the mic value to your desired liking. I have mine for skype set at auto adjust for both mic and speaker/headset.
