For some time now, we've been successfully using Roaming Profiles in a Windows XP environment but i now want to ensure that this will work once we migrate to Windows 7 x64. Using the Microsoft Guide 'Managing Roaming User Data Deployment Guide', I've been able to successfully redirect the Folders so that on the whole, this is now working.
However, i've noticed that some settings don't get set by default when you move from 1 OS to the other. For example, IE Home Page doesn't stick when you move from 1 machine to the other (Favorites are there) & the signature selected in Outlook isn't set by default, though it is available to select from the Signature List.
I'm aware that strictly speaking, XP/Windows 7 Roaming Profiles aren't supported, so question is, is this by design or is there something i'm doing incorrectly?
