Windows 7 RSS Feeds Gadgets

I'm using this gadget on my desktop to see news from my favorite website. The only problem comes from updates. It doesn't seems to update by it self, I must go on Windows Live Mail and update it from there.I've also set the refresh delay to 15 minutes in Windows Live Mail so why isn't it updating on my desktop?
