Greetings,

Absolutely new around here and not sure how it all works but I sincerly hope you all can help me with something.

My problem is that whenever I plug in my charger or plug it off, my laptop screen goes off for a second and returns. This if it happens while FIFA 12, my game quits.

I had downloaded these wallpapers from VIKITECH but not sure if it started then. It may be a minor problem but I need to know.

My laptop is the Alienware M14x with 3GB graphic card NVidia and Intel HD.

Thankyou all for your time and upcoming help :)

Hello! It sounds like you are experiencing an issue with your laptop screen flickering or going off briefly when you plug in or unplug your charger. This can be quite frustrating, especially if it's causing your game to quit unexpectedly. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and resolve this issue: 1. Check Power Settings: - Make sure your power settings are correctly configured. Sometimes, the display may dim or turn off briefly when power settings change. You can adjust this in the Control Panel under Power Options. 2. Update Graphics Drivers: - Since you mentioned having an NVIDIA and Intel HD graphics card, updating the drivers for these cards might help. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause display issues. 3...
3. Disable Automatic Brightness Adjustment: - Some laptops have a feature that automatically adjusts the screen brightness based on ambient light. This feature can sometimes cause flickering. Disable it to see if it helps. 4. Scan for Malware: - Since you mentioned downloading wallpapers from VIKITECH around the time the issue started, it's a good idea to scan your laptop for malware or unwanted programs that might be causing the problem. 5. Check for Loose Connections: - Ensure that the connections between your laptop and charger are secure. A loose connection can cause power fluctuations leading to screen flickering. 6. Test in Safe Mode: - Boot your laptop into Safe Mode and see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is related to any third-party software. 7. Monitor System Performance: - Use system monitoring tools to check if there are any spikes in CPU, GPU, or memory usage when the screen flickers. This can help identify potential resource-related issues. 8. Contact Support: - If the issue persists after trying these steps, it might be best to contact Alienware support or a technician to diagnose and fix the problem. By following these steps, you should be able to narrow down the cause of the screen flickering issue and hopefully resolve it. If you need further assistance or have any more details to provide, feel free to let us know!
