On my new Win7 computer the screensaver is set to come on after 10 minutes, and Power Management is set to turn off the display after 15 minutes. I go away, come back in 2 hours, the desktop is still happily glowing. Gimme a break, how can something as basic as this not work?

But then I also just noticed while copying files from one of my XP computers to another, the little floating progress dialog says "Copying files from [source] to ... " -- oops, can't see the destination because it's covered up by the progress bar, leaving just the tops of the taller characters showing as little dots. This is in an OS that's been around for like 10 years.

I just have to shake my head and sigh.

      File Copy Progress Dialog Issue:

The issue with the file copy progress dialog covering the destination path on your XP computers can be improved by taking the following steps:
    []Resize the Dialog Box:
    • Try to resize the dialog box to see if you can fit both source and destination paths without overlap.
    • You can also try dragging the dialog box to a different location on the screen to see the full path.

]Use a Third-Party File Copy Tool:
    • Consider using a third-party file copy tool that provides a more user-friendly interface for file transfers.
  2. Adjust Font Size or Monitor Resolution:
    • If the issue persists, you can try adjusting the font size in Windows or the monitor resolution to see if that helps with displaying the full text.
