Windows 8 Search in Charms bar doesn't work 8.1

Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you could help me with this. The search section of my charms bar won't open. When I open the charms bar and click on the search icon, it highlights the icon for a second and then closes the charms bar and does nothing. I am running windows 8.1 core OEM single language with August update.

Have you checked the Indexing Options in control panel, I would suggest rebuilding your index.
