Windows 7 Secure Socket Layer issues .....SSL

I am shocked that doing a search for SSL (secure socket layer) in this forums comes up empty! :(

cannot switch to SSL mode:

My online sync program (Goodsync) errors when it tries to connect to their server:

155307 Cannot connect to https://online.roboform.com/users/xxxxxx:
cannot switch to SSL mode: error:00000000:lib(0):func(0):reason(0)[0] (error 5)

Also my Dropbox errors when it tries to connect to its server:

Cannot establish a secure connection

Windows 7 64b pro with ZERO antivirus program and turned off Firewall. Troubled PC is wired and all this works fine with my laptop wireless.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Most of the Browsers seem to give you an option of which SSL version to use. Firefox shows 3.0 and 1.0 with some additional settings.

You might also try a compatibility mode for the Browser on that site, or set the site in a special circumstance.

Do you know what the site needs exactly?

Someone else may know what the error means.
