Windows 7 Services do not start after virus attack

guys,


i messed it up....

recently, i had a virus attack. this virus stopped all services. i stupidy enabled every serives in service directory.

later i installed antivirus and solved my earlier problem.

now, the current problem i am facing is, i am getting many errors in event viewer especially under system logs.

ther errors r as under


  1. The SPP Notification Service service terminated with the following error:
    Access is denied.
  2. Name resolution for the name tracker.xpear.de timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded.
  3. Name resolution for the name dns.msftncsi.com timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded.
  4. Name resolution for the name tracker.openbittorrent.com timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded.
i dont know wat they means. it is creating me troubles. can somebody pls help me out??

i would grtly appreciate any help that solves this problem.....

If you have run the .reg, after a restart the services will all be running on default. You can check, if you wish, against Black Vipers list.

There is a slightly easier way. Blackviper has been kind enough to anticipate this problem and has prepared different .reg files for each occasion.
Go to this page:

Scroll down to Default Windows 7 Services Start Key.
Select your appropriate OS and save the file to your computer. Run the .reg, and it will return your registry to the original default services configuration.

i am not so good with computers..... pls dont mind....

how to check if my services are set to default????

is there a way????

should i have to restart my system for change to take effect?????
