Windows 10 {Solved}Microsoft Edge Issues

I don't know if this is the right place for this post, but this forum always seems to have the answer. I decided to try Edge, moving from IE. One very annoying issue. On some websites, pop up ads appear and in some cases the browser goes to the ad page. I have ad pop up blocker on, but they still keep popping up.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Which ad blocker are you using? Do you have example sites that are still producing pop-ups?

I think the ad blocker is one built into Win 10? I did have a separate blocker way back when on Win 8.

OK, problem solved. I installed the Adguard extension. No more ads. I didn't realize that pop up ads were different from plain pop ups.

Yeah the built-in one is kind of rubbish. Luckly edge does support some chrome extensions so my Ad Block Plus from chrome works in edge.
