Windows 7 Sony Vaio and Mass Storage Controller

I installed RC 7100 64-bit on a Sony VGN-CR320E notebook.
Everything working well except for the Mass Storage Controller.
Therefore no card or stick reader.

Attempts at searching for the driver on my computer yield a message
"Texas Instruments PCI XX12 integrated FlashMedia controller"
"Driver is not intended for this platform."

No success with Internet search to this point including TI site.

Any help appreciated.

Download driver from below mention link. Please copy this link and paste in explorer.

I spent hours without success to find the mass storage controlled device driver for my laptop (sony vaio vgn-nr110e/installed windows 7 ultimate 64 bits).Everything working fine execept the memory card reader. Until I saw u thread and saved my live

Got a Sony VGN-NR330E Laptop
Installed Windows 7 x64 (Vista Upgrade)

Problem: Device Manager has a unknown Mass Storage Controller driver missing
Cure: download.xanderx.com/software/windows/driver/CardReader_V.zip
Xandrex CardReader_V.zip contains 06PCMIA x86 & x64 bit drivers

I also downloaded all Vista x64 and XP x86 drivers from the Sony website.
Most Sony drivers are really useless software. Some Sony Vista drivers will install in the Vista
compatability mode.
Sony does notlabel their drivers with version numbers so its a real pain to install the latest correct drivers.
Fortunately Win 7 has most of the drivers you will require.

It's been quite a while that I have been looking for a windows 7 driver for my sony vaio vgn-cr25s mass storage device controller (or card reader) until I came across with this forum... I tried the link that you have posted... I downloaded it and installed it... and it works! thanks for sharing this link. U save me with one problem with my sony vaio vgn-f250fz,other is camera and nvidia 8400 gt,i never see such poor support,as sony have,i work as a computer tehnician,and did comps for 15 yrs,but sony....,just say no.
