Windows 7 Sound disappears constantly

Hi there,

i run windows 7 on my laptop. Unfortunately my sound constantly disappears when i play games. it also wont play sound on a 3rd program (e.g. skype call and youtube open, then the game will have no sound). Sometimes when i set it to sleep or close the program the sound comes back, however sometimes the only way to get the sound back is to restart the computer. Every windows program and status report will say that my sound is working perfectly.

Could you please help me, let me know if you need specs or a dxdiag
