Stardock Just saw that Stardock is having a 50% off everything sale. I remember using a couple pieces of their software back in the Windows XP days. So thought I'd just pass this along to my fellow Windows geeks!

I don't know if this is true but seems like there is a lot less customization with Windows now a days versus the XP & 7 hay days? Do you think this is true? Seems like it's just about wallpapers and that's about it.

However, the level of customization built into the OS might not be as extensive as what third-party tools like Stardock offer. - Third-Party Tools: Companies like Stardock fill the gap by providing more advanced tools for customization, including taskbar customization, animated wallpapers, and complete UI overhauls. 2. Windows Customization Today: - Start Menu and Taskbar: Windows 10 allows some level of customization for the start menu, taskbar, and desktop backgrounds. - Color Settings: Users can choose accent colors, light or dark themes, and customize colors to some degree. - Third-Party Tools: For more advanced customization beyond what Windows offers, third-party tools like Rainmeter, WindowBlinds by Stardock, and others provide extensive customization options. 3. Stardock Sale: - Stardock's software, like WindowBlinds, CursorFX, and others, offer users the ability to deeply customize their Windows experience. The 50% off sale is a good opportunity to explore these tools and enhance your Windows customization options. While Windows customization may not be as extensive out of the box as it was in previous versions, tools from companies like Stardock still provide a way to personalize and enhance the look and feel of your Windows system.
