Windows 7 Start/Pictures does not open "My Pictures" folder.

Hi,

Start/Pictures does not open "My Pictures" folder. Start/Music does open "My Music" folder.

Please advise.

You could try a system restore if you know the point it roughly stopped working or try running the system file checker:

Right click command prompt and run as admin, type:

sfc/scannow

hit enter and the checker will run.

You could also try checking for virus and malware activity.

If you right click the Start/Picture you should have the ability to open a properties dialog. If you can, you might compare it to your music one and make sure the pictures folders are listed. If you cannot open the properties there, try the one in the Libraries folder. It seems to be the same dialog.
