Driver Update: Make sure you have the latest drivers for your Sweex wireless card installed. Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause compatibility issues with the operating system or hardware. 2. Compatibility Mode: Try running the wireless card driver installer in compatibility mode. Right-click on the installer file, go to Properties, navigate to the Compatibility tab, and select a previous version of Windows that the driver was designed for. This can sometimes resolve compatibility issues. 3. BIOS Update: Ensure that your computer's BIOS is up to date. Sometimes, BIOS updates can address hardware compatibility issues. 4. Memory Testing: It's also a good idea to test your RAM modules individually to check if any of them are faulty. This can help rule out any issues related to the RAM itself. 5. Resource Conflict: Check for any resource conflicts in Device Manager. Sometimes, two devices may be competing for the same resources, causing one of them to malfunction. 6. System Information: Gather more details about your system using the System Information tool in Windows. This can provide insights into the hardware configuration and any potential conflicts. 7. Contact Support: If none of the above steps work, consider reaching out to Sweex support for assistance. They may have specific troubleshooting steps for your wireless card model. By following these steps, you might be able to diagnose and resolve the issue with your Sweex wireless card on Windows 7. If you encounter any specific error messages or behaviors when the card stops working, providing that information could also help in further troubleshooting.
