Windows 7 Taskbar icons vanish

Windows 7 installed great and havent had any problems,apart fromt he fact my Right-Hand side taskbar icons keep vanishing??When i turn on my pc the icons either have vanished or doubled up,having 2 of the same or non at all,any ideas please??

Hi gaz,
if you right click on the start orb and choose properties you can access settings for those icons (see screenshot).
