Even after setting the taskbar to two line view ( so I can see the complete day, date and time ) and locking it, it always reverts to one line view after a reboot. This has occurred with each release of W10 TP I've tried, does anybody have a solution for this.

To fix the issue where the taskbar reverts to one line view after a reboot in Windows 10, you can try the following steps:
  • Registry Modification:
  • Press Win + R to open the Run dialog.
  • Type regedit and hit Enter to open the Registry Editor.
  • Navigate to the following key:
    Code:
     HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\StuckRects3

  • Taskbar Settings:
  • Right-click on an empty area of the taskbar.
  • Go to Taskbar settings.
  • Check if the Lock the taskbar option is enabled.
  • Try enabling and disabling the two-line view or resetting the taskbar layout.
  • Third-Party Tools:
  • Consider using third-party taskbar management tools that can remember the layout and settings you prefer for the taskbar.
  • System File Checker (SFC):
  • Use the System File Checker to scan and repair system files that may be causing the taskbar issue. Run sfc /scannow in an elevated Command Prompt. By trying these methods, you should be able to set the taskbar to two-line view and ensure that it retains this layout after a reboot in Windows 10.
