Hello,

I upgraded from Vista SP1 to Windows 7 Ultimate. The upgrade completed successfully, but i have the following issue.
Under Start Menu, some options, such as Getting Started,Sticky Notes etc have Tasks listed for them, so that when we hover our mouse over one of these items a sub menu opens with various tasks listed. Now, if i click on one of these Tasks nothing happens.
Any way to fix this ?

Thank You

Hello and welcome to the windows7forums.

We all agree that a "clean" install is the only way to go.

Performing an upgrade leaves behind hundreds of useless files and can create driver issues as well.

You will, however have to re-install all your 3rd party applications.

I of crouse 2nd the notion that Clean install is the way to go for all the reasons stated.
