Windows 7 They're back!~ BSOD's, that is.

So it's been some time since my last BSOD thread. A lot has changed, and a lot has stayed the same. Here's a quick rundown:
Since my last post I was problem free up until the end of the month, then the BSOD's came back. I tried fixing them myself for a while, but finally gave in and started looking for parts to replace/add to my setup. I've since then added a new cooling system that keeps my CPU at ~30°C when idle and ~45°C when under load, peaking to ~49°C when I ran the CPU burn in test. I added 8 more gigs of RAM, a new HDD and an SSD, added a new audio card, and plugged in the remainder of the fans (while also adding one on the side). I scraped the old HDD, and was on the fence with scrapping the GPU, but money constricted me. So this meant that I would need to reinstall windows (which was highly recommended in the previous thread!) on the SSD. The setup went excellently, and for 2+ months my computer was happy..

Since 9/26/2014 I have had constant BSOD's every day, each with the same bug check string. I've looked around, ran chkdsk's and memtests, but I just don't have the time anymore to try and 'fix' this alone. So here we are again.

Think you can help me?

EDIT: Adding a bit more info..
  • I think I installed the newest drivers for my GPU the day before or after the BSOD's came rolling in. I've since then reverted to what I used at the start.
  • I have recently begun sleeping my computer instead of shutting it down, and whenever I wake it a message comes up saying that the GPU has stopped working and has restarted successfully(?).
  • I also installed ArcheAge, which installs HackShield, which installs drivers that run and do whatever while I'm not on ArcheAge. Why is this important? This is around the exact same time the BSOD's started occuring.
  • The BSOD's usually only happen while playing video games such as PlanetSide 2, Star Citizen, and ArcheAge. Sometimes they happen while simultaneously watching a video on youtube/twitch. (Should note, I've never seen it BSOD through idling or specifically watching videos.)
  • I've ran a full mem. test for 8 hours and it reported no errors. I'm thinking about running one for a lot longer.
  • I have recently updated my BIOS.
  • Since wiping and installing the 337 drivers (the original drivers that were installed on this computer) the BSOD's have begun to black my screens(2) for a few moments, until finally displaying the blue screen.

Hi,
this is your most prolific dump file and causes include:
Bug check 0x50 usually occurs after the installation of faulty hardware or in the event of failure of installed hardware (usually related to defective RAM, be it main memory, L2 RAM cache, or video RAM).

Another common cause is the installation of a faulty system service.

Antivirus software can also trigger this error, as can a corrupted NTFS volume.

Many of your dump files were also memory related with at least three blaming the video memory.

Try removing the ArcheAge application and see if the bsod stops..

Try running this short test to see if the RAM is ok on the GPU:
http://mikelab.kiev.ua/index_en.php?page=PROGRAMS/vmt_en

Now your running an SSD have you changed the system over to AHCI mode? Also is the SSD up to date firmware wise?

CorsairLINK.sys Sat Jul 26 14:29:37 2008: Corsair Link Cooling Kit software/drivers. Likely BSOD cause please uninstall to test.

Memtest86 ideally needs at least 12hrs to run as some errors won't appear until the 12th hour. Post any new dump files

Done and done. Though the test was stating that my video card reported 1990MB of video RAM, but it would only test 1024MB. Also, the video card in question.

Yep

I've always had problems/ran into problems when messing with the Realtek website and their drivers, I'll see what I can do about it.

Memtest86 ideally needs at least 12hrs to run as some errors won't appear until the 12th hour. Post any new dump files
I'll do this tonight and post back with results tomorrow.

Good news on the memory front at least.. :) Any problems or blue screens please post back.

Latest BSOD after playing Planetside 2.

The above is blaming direct X and might be related to the gpu driver which I notice isn't the latest release:
nvlddmkm.sys Tue May 20 00:08:44 2014: Nvidia gpu driver. Nvidia's latest release is:

I can't remember exactly, I just remember that they gave compatibility and stability issues. Short term stuff primarily. Maybe that's not the case anymore, downloading them now.

Edit: Both have been installed with no trouble. Though the driver dates don't match up with the ones on the website. Who knows.

So, in our tests, we've tested my RAM and my video RAM, all that's left is the L2 RAM Cache right? How would I go about testing and fixing that?

I should also note that during that test my CPU hit up to 54°C, 4°C over a previous test I had done when the computer was cleaned out and first set up. I should also note that since Corsair isn't forcing fans to go crazy, my under normal load temperature is 49°C, 4°C over previous temperatures with Corsair. What would you suggest I use to control my fans since Corsair's thingy might have been causing problems?

After playing Star Citizen.

It's all basically the same thing now, isn't it? PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA 0x50 all possibly caused by ntoskrnl.exe+(some amount of numbers).

Hi teeBee,
as you can see same again. I'm also seeing a lot of this driver in the unloaded driver list:
WinRing0x64.sys
This can belong to Razer game booster are you using such an app?
As for your CPU loads temps they look absolutely fine to me. If you were hovering up in the 90c mark then I'd be worried but that temp looks well within the realms of normality

Is your SSD running the latest firmware?

Find command prompt in the start menu, right click on it and choose run as admin. Type:
sfc /scannow
Press enter and await results.

Only Razer software I'm using is Razer Synapse.

Yeah.

Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.

Another one through playing Star Citizen. Same old business as the last ones.

I'd point my finger at the GPU, but I had 0 issues a month ago for the longest time. What changed?

Hi,
yup same again.. Can you tell me, if possible, what this relates to:
evolve.sys Sat Aug 07 05:47:00 2010: Echobit Evolve Virtual Miniport (Ethernet) driver please try to update client:
https://www.evolvehq.com/welcome

I see from your first post that you already did a chkdsk and ran Memtest86. How long did you run Memtest86 for? To test properly you need to be running it for at least 12hrs.

Check your GPU using Furmark and monitor your temps too:
http://www.ozone3d.net/benchmarks/fur/

Have you installed anything new recently either hardware or software?

Evolve is a VPN with a few extra features that I haven't used. It's similar to Hamachi.

I see from your first post that you already did a chkdsk and ran Memtest86. How long did you run Memtest86 for? To test properly you need to be running it for at least 12hrs.
The first time I ran Memtest86 was for 8 hours, the second lasted for 14 hours, 30 minutes, and 34 seconds.

Check your GPU using Furmark and monitor your temps too:

I'll do this sometime tomorrow. How long should I let it run for?

Have you installed anything new recently either hardware or software?
No new hardware, and the only new software was the newest GPU drivers and ArcheAge.

Sorry TeeBee I'd forgotten you'd ran Memtest86 again for longer this time.. Furmark has it's own test see if it will complete that.
