Windows 7 Trouble Logging Into Windows: User Profile Service Failed to Load

On starting up windows it asks for the password, which I duly enter, but then I get a notice come up saying. The User Profile Service service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded.
This have not happened before, how do I rectify the problem please.
